Music Monday: VOLBEAT - Hallelujah Goat

The Danish band Volbeat, formed in Copenhagen in 2001.  Their mix of heavy metal, rockabilly and rock has brought them success in Europe and they are slowly getting radio time in the U.S.  Their lead singer's voice gives the band a very unique sound that has been described, "as if Johnny Cash and Metallica had a baby then the baby was raped by Elvis"...  Thank you, thank you very much.

Music Monday: The Dead Weather, Blue Blood Blues

Super group The Dead Weather jam and that's that...  Consisting of Alison Mosshart (of the Kills and Discount), Dean Fertita (of Queens of the Stone Age), Jack Lawrence (of The Raconteurs and The Greenhornes) and Jack White (of the White Stripes and Raconteurs).  Their song Blue Blood Blues off their 2nd album Sea Of Cowards will keep your head bobbin'.
