Elena Vesnina is beautiful tennis player from Russia. She was born in Lvov, Ukraine, on August 1st, 1986, she's 5' 7 3/4" (1.76 m), weighs 132 lbs. (60 kg), plays right-handed and two-handed backhand, and she's on tour since 2002.

Elena Vesnina is coached by her father Sergej Vesnin and she started playing tennis when she was 7 years old in Sochi, Russia. Her tennis idol is Martina Hingis and she likes to play on hard and clay surfaces. Besides tennis she also likes basketball, soccer and ice-hockey. She's currently (February 2008) among top 50 players in the world but she's yet to show all her potential, and she still lacks some major results. She likes to play on baseline, and she's also well capable on playing on net too, but she needs to work more on her strength, despite her style that is more into the placement and precision.
