Nuria Llagostera Vives Spainish Tennis Star

Nuria Llagostera Vives (born 16 May 1980, Majorca, Spain) is a Spanish female tennis player. On June 6, 2005, Llagostera Vives reached her career-high singles ranking, World No. 35.
During her career she has won 2 singles titles and 11 in doubles. She won the silver medal at the 2005 Mediterranean Games by losing the final to compatriot Laura Pous Tió.
Llagostera Vives was the doubles champion at the 2009 WTA Tour Championships, playing with María José Martínez Sánchez. They beat Serena and Venus Williams en route to a 7-6(0), 5-7, [10-7] victory over top seeds Cara Black and Liezel Huber.
